The birthstone of Pisces, ‘Aquamarine” is derived from Latin ‘aqua’ meaning “water,” and ‘marina’ meaning “of the sea”. It is a crystal that  has been used as a talisman for keeping voyagers and travellers safe as they navigate the sea.
